Time has no patience.

As cliche as it may sound, time truly waits on nobody. You constantly find yourself preparing for the next best thing or planning for the future when before you know it you look back at what was then the presence, in complete awe of how long ago it was. Almost a year ago I applied for the exchange to Amsterdam, genuinely not believing the prospect would materialize. However it is not less than two weeks until I touch down in the cosmopolitan European city I will be calling home for the next six months.

I have no expectations, only a fire in my soul and an itch in my bones to do and see and experience as much as I possibly can. Fully immerse myself in every moment of the presence. So this is merely a means to photographically portray just that.

It always amazes me how the future is a mystery - Expect the unexpected - That is the only constant.
